2. RistoBoost
RistoBoost is an application intended primarily for restaurant operators and local-business operators.
Depending on the version and available plan, it may include:
- content-creation tools;
- artificial-intelligence text generation;
- assistance in preparing replies to reviews or feedback;
- QR Feedback;
- content planning;
- a business profile used as context;
- free functionality and RistoBoost Pro functionality.
3. Eligibility
The user must have the legal capacity required to enter into a contract.
If the user uses RistoBoost on behalf of a company or other organization, the user represents that they are authorized to act on its behalf.
4. Accounts
The user is responsible for:
- the accuracy of information provided;
- keeping login credentials confidential;
- activity performed through the account;
- using the app in accordance with applicable law.
Credentials must not intentionally be shared in a way intended to circumvent limits, controls or service conditions.
5. User content
The user retains rights in the content they enter into RistoBoost.
By using the service, the user grants CDR Apps only the technical rights necessary to process, store, transmit and display such content to the extent required to provide RistoBoost.
The user must have the rights and appropriate legal bases required to use text, images, reviews, names or other information concerning third parties.
6. Artificial intelligence
Some RistoBoost functionality uses artificial-intelligence services provided through OpenAI.
AI outputs:
- are drafts or suggestions;
- may be inaccurate, incomplete or non-original;
- may require changes;
- do not replace the user's judgment.
The user must review content before publishing, sending or using it.
CDR Apps does not guarantee that AI output will be error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, audience or platform.
The user remains responsible for content they choose to publish or use.
7. QR Feedback
RistoBoost may allow an account owner to create a link or QR code for receiving feedback.
Anyone who has access to the link may submit feedback without creating a RistoBoost account.
CDR Apps does not guarantee the identity of the sender.
Technical measures and limits may be applied to prevent spam, automation, abuse or misuse.
Feedback submitters must not:
- submit unlawful content;
- threaten or harass other people;
- impersonate another person;
- enter unnecessary personal data concerning third parties;
- use the service for spam or abusive automation.
8. RistoBoost Pro
Some functionality requires a RistoBoost Pro subscription.
Android purchases are made through Google Play. RevenueCat is used for technical verification of subscription status and Pro entitlements.
The applicable price, billing period, any free trial, renewal conditions and other material information are displayed by Google Play before purchase confirmation.
Subscriptions may automatically renew until cancelled in accordance with the conditions displayed to the user.
9. Subscription management and cancellation
RistoBoost Pro subscriptions may be managed through Google Play.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewals in accordance with Google Play rules; access may continue until the end of the period already paid for, unless otherwise provided by the platform or applicable law.
Uninstalling RistoBoost or deleting a RistoBoost account does not automatically cancel the Google Play subscription.
The user must separately manage subscription cancellation through Google Play.
10. Usage limits and cost protection
RistoBoost may apply daily, technical or operational limits to certain functionality, including AI functionality.
Such limits may be used to:
- maintain service sustainability;
- prevent abuse;
- protect availability and security;
- comply with provider limits.
In exceptional circumstances, an AI feature may be temporarily restricted or disabled for security, abuse prevention, maintenance, abnormal cost conditions or third-party service unavailability.
11. Permitted use
RistoBoost must not be used for:
- unlawful activity;
- fraud;
- spam;
- infringement of intellectual-property rights;
- harassment or threats;
- circumvention of technical limits;
- interference with the service;
- unauthorized access;
- abusive automation;
- deliberate distribution of malware or harmful content.
CDR Apps may limit or suspend access where necessary for security, compliance or service protection.
12. RistoBoost intellectual property
Software, trademarks, designs, interfaces, documentation and other original elements of RistoBoost belonging to CDR Apps remain the property of CDR Apps or their respective licensors.
Use of the app does not transfer ownership rights in the software to the user.
13. Third-party services
RistoBoost depends in part on third-party services, including Google/Firebase, OpenAI, RevenueCat and Google Play.
Interruptions, modifications or restrictions affecting those services may affect RistoBoost functionality.
Use of third-party services may also be subject to the respective providers' terms and policies.
14. Availability and changes
CDR Apps may fix errors, update RistoBoost, change functionality or introduce improvements.
Continuous and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
Where a change materially affects a subscription or user rights, applicable legal obligations and relevant Google Play requirements will be respected.
15. Account deletion
The user may use the account-deletion procedure available in RistoBoost or the dedicated public resource on the CDR Apps website, depending on the version of the service being used.
Completed deletion is permanent and results in deletion of account data directly attributable to the user from RistoBoost systems, except for information that must be retained due to legal obligations, security requirements or protection of legal rights.
Deleting the account does not cancel RistoBoost Pro.
An active subscription must be managed separately through Google Play.
16. Suspension or termination of an account
CDR Apps may suspend or restrict an account where there are reasonable grounds relating to:
- violation of these Terms;
- abuse;
- fraud;
- security;
- legal obligations;
- risks to other users or the service.
Where reasonably possible and compatible with security and legal requirements, appropriate information about the action will be provided.
17. Discontinuation of the service
CDR Apps may decide to materially change or discontinue RistoBoost.
Where active subscriptions exist, applicable obligations under law and the distribution platform's rules will be respected.
18. Liability
RistoBoost is provided with reasonable care, but no software service can be guaranteed to be completely free from errors or interruptions.
To the extent permitted by law, CDR Apps is not liable for:
- decisions made solely on the basis of unverified AI output;
- content independently published by the user;
- incorrect data provided by the user;
- unavailability caused by external services;
- use of the service contrary to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
19. Consumers
Where the user acts as a consumer, all mandatory rights provided under European and national consumer-protection law remain fully applicable.
These Terms are not intended to reduce such rights.
Rules applicable to payments, cancellations and refunds made through Google Play must be read together with any mandatory rights granted by applicable law.
20. Privacy
Processing of personal data relating to RistoBoost is described in the RistoBoost Privacy Policy.
21. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may be updated when the service, law, providers or commercial model changes.
Material changes will be made reasonably accessible and, where required, communicated before they take effect.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights provided by the law of the user's country of residence.
23. Languages
The Terms are made available in multiple languages to facilitate understanding.
The Italian version is the reference text for drafting and interpretation to the extent permitted by law.
In the event of conflict, mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
